Added 2025-06-14 13:39:19 +0000 UTCI think it is pretty safe to call it. These two will replace Fleabag and Firefly. It will come quicker than you expect. Once we finish an additional show we are watching currently , I'll take my own personal choice from the poll and add it to our shows as well. I will lock myself into 1 season of each of these shows then I'll throw it to the wolves, and hopefully, we can make a splash on youtube. Nothing feels better than watching something you like, and it's actually benefiting your exposure as well.Love you all, enjoy your day. I'm excited for these new journeys.

This isnt so much seen in season 1, but it starts to take form. Season 1 was largely constrained. Originally, the show was rejected when pitched to the network but the network ended up approving production as a mid-season replacement for another show. Because of this, production on season 1 was a little rushed, and budgets were low. There was also a LOT of network intervention (which lessens as seasons go on as the then WB saw that people really did want this story).

As others have said, season 1 is a little rocky (though honestly I think not as bad as we make it out to be as a fandom?) but it is an amazing trailblazer of a series. Prior to Buffy, a lot of television was serialized - it was one of the first shows to introduce overarching storylines and episodes that lead into one another.

Time to reactivate my subscription ❤️ (Ive been keeping my eye out since IWTV) Also, as previously mentioned, Buffy season 1 is fun but does not even come close to how great the following seasons are. And then there is Angel (spinoff that starts in later seasons). They are both phenomenal shows.
