I hope all is well with your mom 🌺 I have enjoyed your reactions and analysis. When you noted how many subscribers you picked up from the relatively small number of viewers on Episode 1, it occurred to me that the difference is that viewers of current, albeit popular, shows only just watched the new show too. Firefly viewers have rewatched over and over and truly love the show. We get excited to see someone else fall for something we love. Welcome to the Browncoats!

The song about Jayne cracked me up...actually, Jayne's dumbassery makes me laugh generally. Overall, I don't really have any complaints and your reaction was great! Maybe deprivation made me like it -- as with food to a starving man? But I enjoyed everything...and im so happy you are back, most beloved 🐕🌮!!! 🙏❤😇

2025-06-10 06:07:39 +0000 UTCThis episode (for ME) is the last one from the “awkward” half of the series. Like the first half of the season is a little stilted in terms of nailing down a “feel”. It’s a little all over the place in terms of mixing character moments and action and plot, but Out of Gas and onward starts to feel much more consistent. Glad you’re back and hope your mum is doing okay!!

Throughout most of the first half of this episode, I could tell it wasn't doing a whole lot for you. I'm glad the second half of the show was able to make its point for you. This isn't my favorite episode, but those are coming. However, I really liked the theme of this one.
