There is a reason that I prefer to watch a show or a movie before seeing or reading the source material. It allows me to enjoy the show absent of feeling like it was no as good as the original. Too many people feel let down by adaptations. Honestly I have no desire to see the game, and I also don't even want to play the game at this point. When a story is this much on rails, there isn't a point to playing a game to me. I want to be able to change an outcome in a game. Tell my own story.

Loved episode 4 so much. Can't wait for you to move on to episode 5 because IMO, it's even better than this, which was fantastic. I love the dynamic between these two actors as Ellie and Dina. When Dina was counting on her hand, I read it as once she got to 5, she realized there were way more than she could even count, hence the fear on her face.
I adore Jeffrey Wright (Isaac), and I'm so excited to see him in this. I highly recommend the movie American Fiction in which he stars. It was an Oscar nominee last year. I know you'd love it.
I clocked that Dina was pregnant in episode 3 when they came across the Seraphites in the forest, and she threw up. I knew immediately. I desperately want there to be a way for them to figure out how Ellie became immune (although then that means Dina dies like Ellie's mom did). Sigh. But I don't have much hope for Dina having a happy ending anyway -- but don't confirm or deny, people! I want to enjoy the ride.
Loved the guitar scene so much. It really was moving, and I'm sure even more so for someone who plays the game. That was the same song that they played in the car in episode 4 of Adolescence.

Just started episode 4 and this first scene with the discussion of voters is hitting me hard right now with what is going on in America. You know you are in trouble when dystopian scenes feel familiar.
