I agree - Freddie is the worst lolll! I get so angry when I see her character. She seems to like to stir the pot like Hannibal but for $/fame and enjoys when she makes things go wrong. Really great reaction to a really great show!! Excited to keep watching.

I wouldn’t make the same recommendation for everyone. Ray, in particular, seems to be sensitive to spoilers and wants to avoid plot beats, but everyone’s mileage varies. If they asked, I'd probably pass on exactly what you said to a friend.

It's all personal preference, of course, but I feel that prior knowledge of the books/films actually enhances the show quite a bit at times. The show tells an original story that's completely seperate from the book or film canon, but it does incorporate plot elements from the books (as well as characters, of course) in a way that deliberately subverts expectations. Some things play out in a similar way, but with a different connotation or subtext due to the surrounding events being so different. Other times, events from the books/films are practically turned upside down or contorted in some unusual way that feels like a metacommentary on the source material. Preexisting knowledge of the source material certainly isn't required, but the show is very much written with the expectation that many (but not all) viewers will already be familiar with it.

What if, instead, you just posted what you plan on watching next (or maybe a watch order for a few upcoming shows)? That way we can get excited about oooh my show is coming up next, or we can chill out knowing you’re working on other stuff and it might be a minute. Without a deadline maybe you wont feel as much pressure to hurt your eyes to meet expectations.
