Insight Update - active players graph, compare games, info button, fixes
Added 2019-07-02 21:31:12 +0000 UTCPlayTracker Insight got an update today, bringing some new features as well as a plethora of improvements and fixes.
- Active Players graph - shows the number of users that launched a game in the past two weeks at a given point in time.
- Compare Games - set a game for compare and its data will show up in graphs alongside data from other games. This is an Epic Tier Patron exclusive feature.
- Information button on graphs - a new button on the top right of every graph that opens up a short and concise description of the graph and where the data is from.
- Integrated Insight fully with the rest of PlayTracker, unifying navigation across all pages.
- Fixed games with no achievement still showing a "Perfected" value on the User Interaction graph.
- Aligned text in the sidebar.
Work continues on future Insight features such as multiplatform support, geographical breakdowns, an option to view full historical data, an audience overlap venn diagram for the compare games feature, and even more graphs.
I've also decided on a new format for these update posts, after wandering around in the inconsistent dark for a few months. Updates will focus on either Social, Quest or Insight independently, and be noted as such in the titles. They will be smaller and more focused on particular features, with graphics like the one above for easy social network sharing.
