Priority levels on Verizon mmWave
Added 2022-01-08 23:22:40 +0000 UTCDennis and I went in to Denver to test out how priority levels impact performance on Verizon mmWave.
What did we find?
We found that priority did not appear to have a measurable impact on mmWave.
We tested using Fast.com. We ran a 3 minute test (that used 19.2GB per phone!) to test the performance with simultaneous load in the network.
Peak performance was about 4Gbps.
Each of the four phones got about 870Mbps. So it appears the available capacity was split rather evenly between the phones.
