After years of natural disasters caused by climate change, resources in the US are scarce. The fat cats in Washington declare martial law and the country is reorganized into zones that are required to send all of their resources to DC to be redistributed amongst the country. The zones had enough and rose up against the capital who handily beat them back into submission. As a citizen on DC, would you vote for the following measure? “Should each zone be required to pay tribute to the Capital every year as reparations for their uprising and to serve as a reminder of this dark time in history. The manor of tribute is TBD by a committee in the House of Representatives.”
