Wow, thank you to everyone!

I've been running this fundraiser for only four days and I've been blown away by the response. We've already reached 30 patrons - which was my goal to allow me to devote more time to the website.

I'd like to thank all thirty people who are giving money - those of you giving one dollar and those giving twenty.

I've started plotting out how much time I can devote to this website next year, and it should allow me to get through things quicker, and mean that I'm not rushing to finish seat guides when I'm in the heart of an election campaign.

But I don't want to stop here. I'm planning to keep pushing this fundraiser throughout December and am hoping to reach my next stretch goal of 50 patrons. This would give me a very solid footing to speed up completing the core work of the website and expanding what I can get done. At that point, this blog looks more like a part-time job, and less like a hobby.

I'll be sending my first update to the $5+ patrons in coming days - and you should look forward to some new election guides to be finished in time for your Christmas reading. :)
