How about a video discussing the importance of patience in investing?

Added...some other things in video is: Should one always wait to purchase dividend stock and wait till the price drops signifcantly and why do many of the dividend stocks have high PE ratios. In a declined market one would think they would be lower. Reposting from December Q&A since I didn't see a December video: Hi Nathan. I am currently testing a new stock screening approach and it would be good to hear your thoughts on it. I use custom equation screener on Stock Rover and screen for companies with 8% ROIC for EACH year over last 5-10 years and at least 1% revenue growth YOY. Then I sort companies by growth rate. This allows to find companies that consistently return a decent ROIC and continue growing signaling that they are likely will continue delivering those returns. I am sure you would be able to come up with much more valuable ways to screen using custom equations, but it would be good to hear your thoughts on this approach.

Take this curiosity for what you will. I can’t help but wonder about the “margin of safety.” When pricing an asset, what is a reasonable margin of safety? I’m sure the more certain a person is with the price, the less margin needed. But I’m curious where one would draw the line, or how you would approach the problem. PS congrats on the new baby. Hopefully happy, healthy, & sleeping soundly soon.
