This decision impacts the progression of the next video and carries a much bigger risk than choosing which items to take - this is the first choice in the story that can impact the mortality of the MC. The day schedule is not meant to be 1:1 to our world, and is instead on a 7 day cycle. only influencing the date of when the next video takes place.
The last video ended on the third day. The winning day is when the next video takes place.
For example - if Day 5 is the winning vote, the MC will spend two more nights in the room before leaving on the fifth day. If Stay wins, the MC will wait out the entire week in the room.
