Images

I've been working on whipping up more images and the next update is going to have a ton more that's for sure. Then I'll take a break from that for an update or two, but thankfully the file size still seems tiny, I guess I am used to people just plastering wallpaper sized images or giant gifs with no regard to filesize. I know I've mentioned this before but I'm new with using images so if anybody has issues with images not appearing properly please send me a screenshot and let me know which browser/device you are trying to play on.

Here is an example of some custom icons I made for the new compass. Each direction is a button with a tooltip (in case it wasn't obvious). I got frustrated with how I should display and format directions and thought of this. I know compasses are fairly common in a lot of games but I can't think of any html games I've played that use them and I have seen buttons used effectively so everything seemed to fall into place nicely. I get a little caught up in the details and I considered finding a special font just to make 'W' play along nicer. So unfortunately I had to cut out all the lewd content in the next update (jk).

.06 Update

The next update contains a massive overhaul of the island. I originally wanted it to be small but while planning future story lines and advancement I decided it should be a bit bigger. A few beach passages, a camp, and a cliff was kind of boring too. Sure its a desolate uninhabited island that you will probably die on... but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun! 

Things may have gotten out of hand with that too and now its over 5 times larger than before. The beach and bluff will be greatly expanded and joined by a tropical forest. Each area will have its own set of unique events, mobs,  etc. There will also be major improvements to gathering and crafting, alternative ways of gaining water and sanity, 'dialogue' options with your fellow survivor(s), and a handful of lewd events. I'm also planning to expand combat, leveling up, and add a quest/objective system though I'm not sure if that will make the cut this week.
