Closing Patreon, migrating to Boosty

I feel resentment rn.

Patreon wasn't something I paid the appropriate amount of attention to, yet knowing that there are people that find material value in my products and express this value voluntarily always warmed my heart, and it gave a bit of purpose.

Right now, I can't use most services from abroad — I even had to call my ex-coworker from Georgia to pay for ctjs.rocks domain recently, as all my banking cards were rejected. Politics stay firmly and mercilessly now between creators from Russia, like me, and the world — and as I can't pay for the services I used in my developer life, I also can't receive your financial help here, too. Aaaand contrary to other developers from my country, I had always put foreign users first, so you're the 99% of my current userbase :D

It's a decision one would obviously postpone for a long time, but today I am disabling paid tiers here and donations on my itch.io. I don't see the solution of the conflict in the nearest future or sanctions and restrictions magically vanishing. And I can't escape, at least yet.

Right now, if you have a paid subscription here on my Patreon page, cancel it. Otherwise, your money will be simply wasted. I can't cash out. I even have to use a VPN to write this. Find a better use of your money.

I will try promoting my page at a similar but Russian service, Boosty. If you want, you can subscribe there. I don't know whether it will be usable worldwide, and it is definitely paid in roubles only. There are options for recurring payments (a la Patreon) and for one-time payments in form of goals. Right now I can only propose mentioning subscribers in the app and priority support, but I will probably design proper benefits for you in the nearest time.
