Early Access - 3D Visualization

Hi everyone! It's been almost a year and half since my last Patreon post and I have some cool updates to share.

First, I want to take a moment to highlight the private beestat Discord server. This is where I am most active these days, so if you'd like to chat make sure you get connected with your Patreon account to get access. We have a lot of fun and updates and feedback flow freely.

Now on to the fun stuff! I have spent the past two months tirelessly building a vision I've had in my head for years: The ability to view your sensor data on a 3D floor plan of your home.

The first part of that is constructing your floor plan. I've built an editor from scratch that lets you lay out rooms and assign sensors to them. It's quite full-featured and easy to use. If you have trouble, check out the documentation for more info.

Once your floor plan is built you can then overlay sensor data on top of it. A screenshot doesn't do it justice; this is absolutely amazing to see and fun to play with. Make sure you assign sensors in the floor plan editor!

Access to supporters is available now. I still have more features to add and bugs to fix, but things are stable and worth checking out. Dive in and start truly understanding the temperature inside your home. Please reach out if you have any feedback. Huge thanks to the folks on Discord who have helped out over the past month and made extra sure I was supporting Celsius. ;)

Couple quick (affiliate) links to share as well if you're in the market for any gear:

If you messed up the floor configuration you have to delete it all and start over unfortunately. If you've done a lot of work I can manually edit it to add floors or move things around a bit. Happy to take a look any time!

How do I edit flood plan if I messed up Setting it up? I have two units for my house one for each floor.

I am slowly moving most things in that direction. The 3D Visualization is actually the first feature that is fully cross-thermostat. You can build your home(s) and add sensors from any zone to a single visualization.

Is there a way for you to integrate zoned AC systems and also multiple systems in one house? My house has 3 systems with a total of 6 zones (one system has 3, another has 2 and the last has 1) so a total of 6 thermostats to run all that. And then some thermostats use sensors as well. It’s big. I would really like to be able to aggregate all that data into a smart picture of my house, and this 3d map would be a great interface/visualization for it.
