Weekly Update! (9/9/22)

Hello everyone! I'm mainly testing the waters with Patreon at the moment. I hope I'll use this for the purpose I intended (which is to update people who pledge on the progress of the videos that are currently in production). But enough of that, let me give you the actual progress update. 

I have been working up a script for a video unique from the others I planned. It's more or less a movie review on a very underrated foreign film; I hope that the video will introduce many to the film in question and build more of a following around it. I plan for the video to go deep into the film, explaining the film and the subtleties that are in it. I also want to touch on stuff that happened behind the scenes. 

I also want to compare the movie to the director's other films released before it. I've done a good chunk of the research and discovered some stuff worth including in the video. I plan on the video being in 1.33:1, the aspect ratio used in the film. It's mainly for aesthetic purposes (it also just looks nice.) 

I also plan to compare the movie with the short story it's based on, though finding a translation is not a simple task as it seems no English translation of the story exists. I'll see if I can find a translation of the book though if I can't find what I'm looking for, I'll scrap the idea. 

I plan to have this released before 2023 but no promises. I also don't know the length that the video will be. I desire it to be longer than an hour to 3 hours at the maximum though that depends on how in-depth the video will go. 

There's not much else to say when it comes to the video. I'll also be teasing the topic in the upcoming weeks. That's it when it comes to information on the new video. Thanks for reading this decently long update. I'll be doing another one of these updates next week so stay tuned!
