This week - Starting the 90 and having all the gearbox parts for the 110

Hi everyone hope you're enjoying the long weekend! I'm working on the final vid putting the 90 back together before we shift over to the 110. We had a week off after snapping the rocker shaft bolts off in the cylinder head and should be firing it up this weekend. Fingers crossed for no oil leaks...

Meanwhile lots of parts have been arriving from Tenaci in Sweden. The clutch for the 110 is an organic unsprung disc with the same SRE765 pressure plate. Finally the gearbox work can be finished and I'll be bringing you guys an update very soon!

Being a solid clutch disc (with no internal springs) I'm hoping it doesn't rattle too much but it should drive better than the carbon-metallic disc we were going to use. If it does slip we can always change to a sintered 6 or 4 puck clutch although it'll be much harder to drive smoothly. 

My plan now is to carry on with using the Nissan Patrol axles and have the clutch as the weakest part of the drivetrain. People are telling me to keep with LR axles and change half shafts if/when they break but I'd rather have a slipping clutch to deal with as a worst-case scenario and strong axles. 

Thinking of dropping of some Y61 axles to Blackbird Industries for them to be cleaned up and have a rear A-frame mount fitted 

This is definitely overkill but if  it means we can take the 110 to Santa Pod and have some fun without destroying lots of parts I think it's worth it! 

Other updates

- Sold the old flywheel and clutch setup

- Sending the turbo for balancing and a general check over 

- In contact with Blackbird Industries over sorting out some Y61 axles 

- Have bought a bulkhead on eBay but seller not responding
