Branching Out
Added 2017-10-09 19:50:32 +0000 UTCI thought you may like to know in advance of next weeks Mingles video that I'm testing the idea of branching out to video hosting services that aren't YouTube. A number of you recommended Vid.me, so I'm giving them a try. I've uploaded a couple of my most-viewed videos to their service and I'm applying for verification right now. I plan to upload everything I do to both YouTube and Vid.me from now on, so you can choose where to get your daily dose of Jingles.

I am sorry to see vid.me gone, since Jingles started to upload there i saw all his content on vid.me, it was great without the commercials!

If you come across him on the Dark Side (YouTube Land where thieves and rascals abound) kidnap him and bring him back to Patreon Land where he can receive the proper medical help he is clearly in need of. Those rascals on the Dark Side have been messing with his head again, poor soul!

2017-10-30 15:03:44 +0000 UTCI disagree. Unless software has been written to use more than a single core, the numbers of cores is irrelevant and its the GPU that's more important. The 1080 is a good buy, as is the add on card for streaming, though NVIDIA now has good software for streaming as part of the driver software (GeForce Experience if I recall correctly). The fastest CPU and the biggest GPU you can afford is the what I'd recommend, depending on your budget. If it was me I'd have gone with a PC built by Scan.co.uk (no I don't have any affiliation with them, in case you are wondering) as they are pretty much the experts on building rigs for specific uses.

I made the most money I've ever made on YouTube 3 years ago when a network was taking a huge amount of my overall earnings, it's a fucking joke. In the past 2 years I've basically made nothing on YouTube itself at all, it's ridiculous. Trying vid.me myself as well, fingers crossed it works out for you.

Kickstarted them several years ago, their stuff is top-notch quality and they have worked with several YT-personalities (Dodger, Strippin, Jesse Cox). Good on the move- is YouTube-Red a thing for you? This should be paying regardless of monetarisation of YouTube.
