Server Update Expectations
Added 2023-06-21 21:13:48 +0000 UTCThis is a small update post on 1.4.4 progress. As you may or may not know, at this time, each Dimension on Dark Gaming is undergoing updates to the latest version of Terraria.
It is my hope that this can be fully completed before the next Terraria update, as the next Terraria update will undoubtedly add more complications.
It is my expectation that once our server has completely moved to 1.4.4 we will remove access to any clients not using this version.
PvE is already on the latest Terraria version and Zombies will soon follow. Rift, Items, Special Item and Gamemodes are all special because they do not run Terraria itself on the server, these will be easier to update but the difference will be unnoticeable because there is fundamentally no real changes.

Once the server is updated fully, and likely after the next Terraria update itself, we will again be in a good place to continue to work on any new features that are otherwise currently held back due to updating to the latest Terraria version.
