They all have their own pros and cons! Sprags can slip, but it is rare. DT swiss wont suffer the high radial loads from single pawl engagement, but if those ratchet wheels slip they are toast. But on balance I think but are normally better than radially sprung pawls due to them suffering the single pawl engagement case. Which is why the absolute worst is i9. They sell axles like Gillette sells cartridges.

Looks really interesting, nice one. Do you think that the ratchet and pawl mechanism is the best device to use for a freehub? Or do you think those Onyx hubs wit a sprag clutch would be a better solution? Or DT Swiss star ratchet, which you seem to be a fan of
