A Minor Update to the Patreon
Added 2019-09-03 20:53:24 +0000 UTCI've been feeling down about the fact that I've not been able to fulfill the promise of The Weekly Transformation every week. It was designed as a small writing exercise every week to post on here for Patrons exclusively as some kind of added bonus for giving to the 5 dollar tier. Turns out adding a writing exercise on top of video production, which is in itself a large writing exercise every month, was biting off just a little more than I could chew. So at the moment, while I'm searching for a day job and all that, I'm going to just remove the Weekly Transformation from the rotation here. I really loved the idea though, so it'll likely come back, just when I'm more able to do it every week.
In it's place, I have put down that patrons at the five dollar tier will gain access to the new podcast presented by Explode When Defeated, Discuss All Monsters! Work is well underway for that show and I'm really excited to be doing it with my dear friend Wyatt (It's Only Magic on YouTube), and it should be ready fairly soon for you all to ravenously consume like a pack of hungry wolves. The schedule for Discuss All Monsters! is fairly set in stone, because Wyatt is way better at planning ahead than I am, so I can guarantee YOUR access to those episodes one WEEK early on Patreon, as opposed to the one day early guarantee you already get with Explode When Defeated. (EWD is just a lot more unpredictable as to my progress on it so I can only guarantee one day lmao)
I feel like this trade-off will suffice, and I can sleep easier at night! Cool! See ya soon!
