I originally wrote the dialogue for these scenes, but it didn’t feel quite right. I spent about three days going back and forth before finally settling on this version.
Even now, I’m still not sure if it really feels right to me.
Just like last time, these kinds of exchanges are tough because they really bring out the character’s inner emotions, so I end up agonizing over them.
