"Anime communities, much like many other communities, have been experiencing an invasion of alt-right and right wing extremist community members. I'm interested in the how and why. Why is this happening and how are these communities accommodating towards this belief system? Ultimately, I wish to help the viewer understand how these things are connected and to preach the importance of advocacy for marginalized communities within online spaces."
