Heyo Heyo Heyo back at it again with another biweekly checkup. Here's how htings have been holding up. so to just put this outa the way...

ROXY ANIMATION

I think it's been long enough since i teased the roxy short, but i'm gonna be honest it's not lookin like it's releasing this month. So to compensate, by the end of the month, i will show off whatever i have of the Roxy animated short.

TOSTITOS & CHEETOS

HOOO BOYY ever since the summer started, i've gotten way more work done on this than i have done in a 3 weeks during the school year. Already animated 7 shots, cleaned up 5 , and composited the 5. i think the July date might be reached if i keep going at this pace. and ever since my switch from Cycles to Eevee on Blender, render times have tripled and my sanity has been at an all time high. one this that has been holding this project back for days has been the 3d shit. mostly because i was using the Cycles render engine which is 10x more prettier than Eevee, but because of how nutty it was on my computer, i had to sometimes allocate rendering time while i GO TO BED, and somehow my computer would crash in the middle of the night 20% rendering. and it would take up to 20 seconds per frame and for animated backgrounds, that was hell. not to mention the bug where it wouldn't even denoise the render like i ask it to sometimes and by the time i realized it, it had already rendered out a hundred something frames of 1080p images which is like an hour or 2 btw. so rendering, checking, fixing, rerendering, was just a cog in my workflow that i had to sacrifice the beautiful look of Cycles for the speed of Eevee. so far, ive been able to make Eevee look somewhat on par with the Cycles renders albiet not as realistic, but i think for animated things that'll move around a lot, it's pretty worth it.
