Hi y'all!!! Just wanted to take a little data down if that's alright. First and foremost I'd like to put out a reminder that if you're seeing this page and thinking, "Wow this is a very barren Patreon", that is an astute observation and I would politely redirect you to the Patreon Discord server instead, because that's where all the action happens! I'm pretty sure you get automatically invited when you pledge but if there are any issues please feel free to contact me and I'll invite you manually. I know Discord isn't necessarily everyone's favorite but I feel it's the best platform for the kind of stuff I want to provide for my patrons.

Okay, now to the poll: As some of you may know I've been working on some "video essay"-style videos recently, the biggest being a little documentary about the games of the NES Zapper library. It's been fun making it, but I'm also thinking I don't really want it to be the precise format of future video essays. It might not end up being feasible for my channel but I want to at least give it a try because I enjoy making stuff like this and every time I've done it people have generally been very supportive.

I've been brainstorming ideas and I just wanna try to gauge how interested people are in the different potential video essay topics, and give y'all some influence for supporting me financially! Some of them are quite research-based, others a lot more anecdotal or talking from personal experiences/observations. I'm also assessing the data more based on vibes than pure statistics but you ARE more or less voting on the next video here. There are a couple ideas on here I haven't listed just because I don't want them to be my second video in this "era", like the House of Leaves analysis.
