Jan '25 Update: BitF Campaign Reached, BitMusical World 2, Future Projects

Hello loyal Patrons! Matthew here with the first monthly-ish update on what I’ve been up to!

Right now it’s mostly all about the Brawl in the Family: Ultimate Edition Kickstarter, which wrapped up its campaign two weeks ago reaching an eye-popping $256k! Since then, late pledges (which are still open) have bumped that number higher. You can check out a detailed update for the book right here, which just went up moments ago.

Putting the book together is my most immediate priority right now so that I can get it all ready in time for the holidays, but there are two other projects I’ve begun planning as well. I don’t want to reveal too much too early, but my next project should be unveiled in a few months and is sure to be something you can sink your teeth into. It’s a collaboration with a nice dude and we’re already fans of each other so I’m excited to show it soon.

The second project is going to take a little longer yet so I don’t want to reveal too much about it. I will say that unlike most of the stuff I’ve done, it’s very story-driven. Being able to write actual conversations is rather freeing, I must say!

As for BitMusical, I’ve since added “BitMusical: World 2” to CDBaby so it should be appearing your Pandoras and Alexas and whatever soon enough, if it hasn’t already. Or you can click this compilation video of the latter six songs to watch them all in a row!

It would’ve been nice to reach a full 8 worlds, but alas, it’ll have to be a musical of two acts. Even so, watching these songs again I’m quite proud of the second year of BitM, and a little later down the line I’ll put the entire repetoire in a single YouTube vid. But if you can’t wait, make sure you download the full collection yourself from a couple updates back! It’s currently the easiest, cheapest, and most convenient way to get everything.
