The History of Nintendo 2024 (BitMusical Finale!)

For BitMusical’s final song, I decided to take this song of mine from 2012 for another spin! There’s been more history since then and I wanted to give the earlier parts that extra touch of animation as well, so here it is! Hope you enjoyed it. And I hope you enjoyed watching BitMusical as much as I enjoyed making them.

Also, in terms of what I'm immediately doing next, check out my Brawl in the Family Ultimate Edition + Dededoll Kickstarter! As promised during the Live Show #4, I'm reprinting the books, but with extra bonus features and the Dededoll is coming along for the fun.

Lastly, I’d like to especially thank all you fine people on Patreon in particular. You all believed in me enough to subscribe and made this line of work particularly fulfilling. This won’t be my last Patreon update since I still have the rewards for this month and song to distribute and so I’ll discuss the Patreon plans themselves in more detail later. For now, I’ll just again say thank you for always being in my corner!

Great finale, Matthew. This entire series has been fun. So many enjoyable songs that the kids and I will be re-listening to for years. I really liked how the family made a showing with various lines in this one. Good send-off and wishing you all the best for 2025 and beyond!

That actually wasn't cut for the reason you think! In the interest of time, I cut the second refrain in order to not have the video take forever (since there was now the new verse with 2004 etc)...but then I ended up repurposing the first half of it for the final refrain. The crescendo/innuendo line just ended up in a spot that led to it not quite fitting into the adjusted version.

Bummer to lose the line "a fierce crescendo, peppered with strange innuendo," but I see why it got the axe :P

A beautiful and appropriate send-off to BitMusical. While I wish this worked well enough for you to be able to keep making these videos, I’m still glad to have seen and been a contributor to this and I continue to look forward to what you’ll do in the future!

An all-in-one idea sounds good! I'll try to make that happen over the next couple weeks here on the Patreon.

Thanks again Matthew. That was a fun Kickstarter project page to look over, you must be so proud and I'm glad you have so many passionate supporters returning. I have a hard time believing just how many Kickstarter projects you've been through already and then it's a real, printed THING! It'll be a different experience seeing that Tadpole Treble Switch cart next (I'm waitin') I'll try to keep this question brief because you're a busy guy, but I just considered this right now -- is it possible for you provide an archive outside of Patreon where supporters here can download files (videos, music, pics) all in one go in a compressed ZIP file instead of having to download stuff post-by-post (like with free cloud hosting such as Google Drive)? As the account stops posting new content, it would be cool to take all the stuff offline as simply as possible, at the end of this journey. We could store it all on our devices/external storages of choice. I fell behind downloading everything early on because it took so long, and honestly the interface is a bit iffy on mobile.. really want to make sure I get it all archived
