Last Friday we run the first AI and Games Conference in London, and it was an absolute blast! ๐คฉ
With over 200 attendees, it was one of the largest European events dedicated to Game AI in the past few years!

The event was a collaboration with Tommy Thompson (the voice behind the AI and Games YouTube channel), and was made possible thanks to Duygu รakmak (Creative Assembly), Gabriel Robert (Ubisoft), Matthias Siemonsmeier (Splash Damage), George Osborn, and Sally Kevan.
One of my highlights was meeting so many of you in person, as I was not expecting such a warm welcome! ๐

We had speakers from all major game studios, including Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Unity Technologies, Guerrilla, Sony, Riot Games, Kinetix, Arm, and Amazon Web Services, just to name a few!
I did not have a chance to attend all the talks in person, as I was busy with the organisation! ๐ But my favourite talk was for sure the one from Joar Jakobsson and James Therrien about the AI of Rainworld. ๐๐บ As one of the longest fan of Rainworld, that should not come as a surprise to anyone! ๐คฃ

All of the talks were recorded, and they will be made available in early 2025. And yes, we are already planning for the AI and Games Conference 2025. ๐
