Hey Streetsquad, you've probably got quite a few questions after looking through these photos. Yes, that is Rita and yes that is Gabriel and there's a lot to learn about these two, their history and Braeden's past in the upcoming story.

As we've started the new year we've officially reached about 10 years of StreetSimmer, 10 years of love stories full of twists and turns and we've absolutely loved it. We find that in the recent years we haven't had a real chance to dive into the stories of each of our characters and in 2026 we want to do more of that so we can get back to the basics of what it means to build a character and a world around them like we first did with Ashley in 16 & Pregnant. With 16 soon coming to an end, it makes space for more stories around characters you already know and love, and new characters, new stories and new worlds which gets us so excited! This limited series with Rita will be an 8 part series (the entire script for all 8 episodes is written and animations and filming is being scheduled and planned).

This might leave you with questions about some other series we've started (cough cough Connor's story, Vamp series etc) but don't worry your questions around that will be answered soon in a Q & A video. It's a 10 year anniversary so it's about time we sit down and give you guys all the TEA on what's been going on behind the scenes and what is to come! Just be patient with us, as you always are (we love you guys so much for this btw) and everything will make sense. LOVE YOU GUYS! We're excited for what's to come <3
