April Patreon...podcast?
Added 2025-04-09 16:56:25 +0000 UTCI ended up making the BEC video and...I just really liked it. So it will be up on my main channel today at 3:30.
I still wanted to chat with you guys though like I usually do at the end of the patreon vids. So here is that.
If you want to watch the BEC video early: https://youtu.be/GX-fFXbT0rY
(If the BEC video hasn't processed yet give it like 15 minutes and try again, I just uploaded it.)

The BEC video was great, I love it when you talk about specific scientists and not only about their work but also the context, what brought them where they went, like with Bose, such a cool story. The audio message format is also something I like, so whenever you feel like sharing some thoughts but don't want the hassle of a video and editing etc, just shoot, I think we patrons here would love it! Oops I just saw that I already commented on this last month. Whatever.

2025-04-17 17:53:38 +0000 UTCBEC = home run. I watched on Nebula. Patreon memo is great too. You can be self-conscious looking at yourself talk if that's how you roll, but for me, it's all good. I love your body language, particularly your hand gestures. Also, I see it sorta like when we're hanging out with our friends, we aren't all judgy. What we do together matters, what we talk about matters, what we say matters, but we don't score our routine. We had some time, we hung out. People on YouTube who like you, they'll like what you give them. They're friends. People who don't like you there, I don't know. Are you afraid of them? Just my 2c.

2025-04-13 01:54:13 +0000 UTCThe BEC video and the black holes video are among my favourites of all! Since you're really into the history of science and physics, I think it might be fun to tell stories of specific institutes or universities, and how the fact that some key people ran across each other there was influential for the advancement of their subject. In one recent video from you, you briefly mentioned two guys who weren't US-born but ended up in the US later on, and what caught my eye is that for both, their "alma mater" was the Uni of Leiden, and I thought: is that the reason that they collaborated / contributed both to the same step? It might be a challenge to research this stuff.
