Weekly Standup 49

Cover image: It's a box. It's going to be shown, like, once. I am not sure why I felt compelled to draw it, but I did.

TL;DR:

Things I got done this week: Mostly illustrating. I realized there were a lot of things I wanted to get in that I forgot about. I'm now done illustrating (except for some lying down h-scene stuff that should take < 1 day). I did, however, still get some programming done as I described last week.

Things I want to get done next week: Mostly programming and final drafting. I need to program the new h-scene and do a final draft on the remaining text and then there's just testing left. Oh and there's still some writing for the new h-scene that needs doing.

Monday: Further illustrating the h-scene - one new pose for Ari (including 2 expressions and 2 variants for where she is looking). I had a lot of trouble with this pose (I kind of made things difficult for myself by leaning into my weak point of faces-at-angles) and it took me the entire day.

Tuesday: Further illustrating the h-scene - background for the scene (had to restart this twice before I got something I'm happy with), some blush variants for Ari, and 4 frames of a secret thing happening. ;)

Wednesday: Finishing up on the h-scene - 4 new Frim hand positions, 1 new pose for Ari's arms, some final touchups. I also illustrated 3 new Frim paperdoll variants, and created 3 new icons for some h-scene functionality. Programming - I created a quest and hooked up part of the new content. Fuck, this was a productive day.

Thursday-Friday: Days off. Felt a bit under the weather but luckily I tested negative for the 'rona.

Saturday: Illustrating two variants of an item + an icon for it (also in cover image). Writing some final draft stuff on what content is playable in the game.

Sunday: Bucha programming and writing stuff:

• Fixed an existing minor bug which allows chains level 4 to be reached without fully meeting the requirements for it. I'm not going to backport this fix to the existing versions because it's too minor - it only skips a few lines of dialogue.
• Fixed some existing dialogue (it showed the text "[image=chains]" instead of showing the image)
• Made the laying down punishment repeatable on the chains path (also wrote some dialogue for it)
• Integrating new chains levelup stuff into punishment scene

Updates on my orthopedic health: On Tuesday, I could suddenly make a fist again?? It's like a tendon was stuck or something and it suddenly came loose.

If there's no more updates regarding my bones (what a sentence), everything is probably going well. :)
