December Update (Almost there!)
Added 2022-12-31 16:10:32 +0000 UTCSomething I've heard a few times from YouTube creators that I've watched in the past is that the amount of work a video takes increases exponentially with size. I don't think I understood this. Surely a video twice as long as another video should take twice as long to make? Turns out it is exponential, and the amount of work would be closer to 4x.
I really thought the Splatoon video would be done in December, but I keep being surprised by how much work is required. I don't know how an entire month has passed since the last update. That being said, it's really close now because it's in the editing phase–The Final Stretch! It's around 50 minutes long, which means it's about the size of the last three videos put together and it still has the same density and care put into threading together a story as the others. It's a lot! It'll be done next month (January). I've said that for three months in a row now. It sure would be funny if I was wrong again, so I'll keep the pattern going!
While I know I need to not rush it, I do feel a little bad about how long this is taking so once the audio portion is fully edited I'll consider posting it on here as a form of early access just in case any of you awesome Patrons are the type to only listen to YouTube videos. You probably aren't, especially with videos like this, and I definitely would recommend waiting for the video to be done, but, just in case, I will probably try that!
It's New Years Eve today! Thank you all for the great year, I look forward to seeing where the channel is able to go next year! Lots of rumors are hinting at 5 million subs.
