Added 2024-10-13 11:52:27 +0000 UTCHello again, here is the FOOF/PtF6 video (without any render errors... just had to run the air conditioner at full blast onto the computer for the whole render--- need to fix the thermal paste ASAP maybe I think?)
Anyway, bit of a different video but hope you enjoy it! Next video we will be sure to return to doing shed chemistry, don't worry!

2024-10-14 09:58:39 +0000 UTCYeah thermal paste helps older laptops a whole bunch pretty often. As does cleaning out heatsinks that often get clogged. I run hwinfo looking at temperature then fire up prime 95. If the temperature hits max (100c ish) in a second or two then the thermal paste is gone, in like 10 seconds with an asymptotic approach to temp it's probably not too bad. You can also look at thermal throttling in hwinfo. You will hit thermal throttle on almost all laptops eventually but it shouldn't be instant
