Im making videos

The next Ex&F video on Yellow Powder is still getting edited together. I’m optimistic that it is only a week or two away!! I’m really happy with it so far, to me it’s the right mix of very interesting science and increasingly odd ‘commitment to the bit’.
Over on Extractions&Ire, my current project is making a fluorescent rare-earth doped Zinc telluride glass. I’ve really enjoyed making exotic glasses previously- and thanks to a lot of people who suggested cool glasses I can make!
Starting from tellurium metal, so far I’ve made tellurium dioxide, so up next should be the glass making step.

*this is very rude to my friend who makes the music for the background of the Ex&F videos. He does a great job and it really adds that Ex&F charm! He gets a cut of the Patreon money when I remember to pay him (which is less often than it should be honestly, I’m a bad friend)
