Collin Other, once a brilliant software engineer, successful businessman, and family man, now drifts through life as one of the homeless. On a cold winter evening, he waits in line at a soup kitchen, his body worn and spirits dulled by years of rejection and loss.
A chance encounter with two friendly volunteers, unaware at first of his former identity, rekindles memories of a life he’s tried to forget. When Collin casually solves a complex problem plaguing them, recognition dawns, and whispers of his past ripple through the night.
But as Collin settles into his makeshift alley home, clutching a rare find of whiskey against the creeping chill, a luxury car screeches to a halt at the soup kitchen, and a frantic young woman demands to know where to find him. Unbeknownst to Collin, his quiet anonymity is about to shatter, pulling him back into a world he thought was lost forever.
