Thanks Brian, this has been in development for a while, so it's great to bring it to the FM crowd.

But while I think he suspected, I also believe that up until the point where it was thrown in his face, coming eye to 'toe' with Steve's feet, he pushed himself into denial. Ultimately, he wanted his kids to be his. To take that away would have been to strip everything away. As it was, that was why he had the reaction he did. In one way, it's funny. When I write, I don't tend to see the words; I see the people, the characters and write what I feel they are feeling. For me its about maturing what the characters are telling me I've met a couple of people like this over the years who will ignore the truth in order to stay with the status quo. In part two, that's going to come back to haunt Shawn, however, also be his ultimate salvation,. as you will find out ;) My hope is to post Part II for Full Monty this weekend; however, I had a laptop failure about four hours ago, (Everything is backed up in the cloud) so it may take me a little longer to finish my read through .

I suppose it might be a case of "love is blind", but when Shawn initially discovered the length and depth of the cheating with multiple men....it never occurred to him that the kids might not be his? Also, I would have enjoyed reading more about Steve's suffering further pain and humiliation, as well as whether the court case asking for back child support is successful or not.
