What ship is this?
Added 2025-11-06 15:53:15 +0000 UTCIs it Kirk's ship, the original USS Enterprise? Yes it is! Is it the ship we saw in the 1960's TV show? Yes, and no! The Enterprise I'm building is the real ship, not a series of plywood sets moved around for different scenes and takes. This is the real ship and has nothing to do with 'canon'. How am I imagining this? What would the real ship be like, would it be the same as we saw on the show or would it be different? Would it still have transporters and warp drive? Very soon I'm going to post here the story of crewman Reynolds who wakes up from a coma to find himself on board our ship. Everything is familiar and yet he notices subtle differences. He begins to recall that when in the coma he experience a powerful vivid dream that the Enterprise and all it's crew were merely a make-believe TV show. I'm writing the short story now and hope you will still be on board when you find out everything about this real Enterprise. I don't think you will be disappointed :-). The best Thursday to you all!
