Early access to version 0.23.1 standalone
Added 2024-01-24 08:41:23 +0000 UTCThis early release for Frequent Users packs the three main things we've been working in in the past few weeks:
1. The Story Editor, which allows you to select and export timelines/sequences into your NLE,
2. A significantly improved Assistant that can reply with Stories or Transcriptions, and
3. Speaker Detection, which detects speaker changes in your transcriptions, together with transcript meta segments.
We've also spent a lot of time refactoring the way timecodes are being handled in the tool, so hopefully we got rid of all those time-related bugs for good.
We'll detail these features in future posts, but until then, please try out these new updates and let us know how they work:
For macOS arm64 (M1, M2 etc.): use this top-secret link.

For Windows, CUDA enabled GPUs: use this top-secret link.
For Windows, non-CUDA: use this top-secret link.
From now on, we're going to try to be consistent with delivering macOS Intel and Windows non-CUDA versions so that you can use the tool irrespective of the specs. They will definitely not ingest footage as well as the macOS arm64 or Windows CUDA versions, but all other features should work fast enough!
These have only been tested in our editing room, so, as always, please report anything weird.
