This will be the final feature update before I actually post it on Nexus in about a week from now on.
Bugfixes:
- Fixed repeating forced bounty dialogue for guards when going into smoke bomb
- Fixed companions using warhorns during quests
- Fixed invisible detection messages not showing when witnessed equipping/unequipping masks
-Fixed duration being messed up from more than one smoke bomb
Changes:
- Sentries are now locked to walking movement when blowing their horn. This is to give the player an actual chance to interrupt them with stagger instead of having them just run off.
- In a similar vein, npcs in smoke clouds will be slowed because of reduced vision
- Revamped smoke bomb cloud animations. Instead of plopping in suddenly like most other mods do it (and like this mod did), it now expands like real smoke.
- cleaned up a lot of the plugin and cut down the number of scripts. Laid the groundwork for compatibility with the next projects.
- Buffed smoke bombs to provide more benefit for its users.
New Features:
- Color variations for smoke bombs with the appropriate recipes to match. Available colors: Red, green, blue, yellow, orange, purple, grey, black.
- Added shapes to make smoke cloud mesh T H I C C E R and harder to see through.
- Smoke bombs now show on player when they have at least one in their inventory.
- Added animated scriptless icon that shows whenever an npc is blinded.
- Added animated scriptless icon that shows whenever mask is equipped/unequip
- Sneak takedowns; unaware enemies can be choked out when you're sneaking and attack while facing them with no weapons unequipped (behavior handles this automatically).
There are no angle restrictions so corner takedowns and such should work as
long as the target is unaware of your presence.
Amount of time NPCs stay knocked out can be customized.
- Smoke bombs make NPCs blind in addition to making them cough uncontrollably if they don't have a mask equipped. Comes with cough anims and sound.
- Warhorn blowing sound and reverb were downpitched to make it less jarring; also added sound clip pitch variations so you're not hearing the same sound over and over.
- Levelled list distribution will be done in final release; for now its just craftable.
Installation:
- Install mod through mod manager
- Run Nemesis after clearing previous output, make sure the BoS patch is ticked (it's called Book Of Shadows now)
- That's it, run game and play.
