Are we going to address how The Eye understands the numbers? To him, they should appear as nothing more than foreign symbols. Even if we assume he’s familiar with concepts like pi, how would he possibly recognize Earth’s numerical system? That part really frustrated me. I can accept him understanding English—if he’s hyper-intelligent, it’s plausible he could have picked up the language through observation. But recognizing our specific number symbols? That feels like a stretch. Hopefully, we’ll get some backstory to explain it.
