Member video suggestions for January?

It's that time again! Please let me know if there are any topics you'd love for me to cover in January! After a few days I will gather them all into a poll. Thank you!!

I will also be posting the first of the December members videos in a separate post shortly, and the second one will drop next week before the new year.

Do you feel like you have a hard line between what I call “experiential” fantasy and cerebral fantasy? How do you keep them contained in their spaces? When I was a child I was more balanced between both but I would also always be play acting the fantasies I created. Drawing is a move in direction that makes things little more tangible - a kind of a kind of cosplay on paper - I have definitely played with that. Do you feel like there’s a fine line between theatre and writing or have you struggled in any way to keep them delineated? I am thinking of a biopic (actually more biofiction) I watched a day or two ago “The Man Who Invented Christmas” with all the blending of life and imagination of Charles Dickens and his known penchant for theatre and play acting. One of the first things I wrote that got a little traction with people was a play and yet after it was written it was definitely a reality attack on the experiential plane. You could say I did not know how to enjoy being a playwright even though I enjoyed writing the play. I can struggle with where to locate myself on this spectrum or how to move in an out of these spheres. Composing music is a mix of cerebral-sensory fantasy leaning way harder toward experiential. I like behind the scenes shows a lot where you see the actors and theatre itself. I think this is what people call the work within the work? Of the layers of Russian dolls how many do you have and how do you keep them like I said…contained? - say the fantasy of being a writer versus the cerebral world of the writer. I suspect that your Youtube presence is a character of sorts… and of course your pen name! I think I tried to say “Scheherazade” on one live chat but I was too late you may not have seen it.

This is random and maybe not the place….but ever since I saw some of the mid century modern artwork of Alfred and Livonya, I’ve wanted it as a vellum overlay lol maybe something about your experience with working with artist or if you released the art to members doing a live where we all make our own vellum overlays for Potion Dealers? Idk maybe it’s a silly idea lol
