Mike, I haven't dug too deeply into the Monster Vault so thanks for pointing this out. I only have one complaint -- no DM owes their players one damn bit of explanation that what they're facing might have abilities that they've never seen before. I personally warn my players in session 0 that memorizing all of the stats in the Monster Manual and citing them back to me in a combat will only incur a condition known as DM's Wrath. Just my 2¢.
