March 2021 Sly Flourish Patreon Newsletter
Added 2021-03-04 18:00:04 +0000 UTCHello patrons of Sly Flourish! As always, thank you so much for your support.
As a reminder, as patrons of Sly Flourish, you have access to all of the following benefits:
Regnum Rattus – The Rats in the Cellar. The innkeeper Eli Merrow calls upon old friends to travel into the darkness beneath his inn and slay the horrors hidden in the darkness. This ten-page 5e adventure is designed for one to five 1st level characters and takes them up to 5th level.
Vault of the Dread Syphon. The ghost of a fallen adventurer begs the characters to destroy the Dread Syphon, a powerful artifact of a slain wizard in an ancient necromantic vault. This is a Patreon-exclusive 1st level quick-prep-and-play adventure suitable for 2 to 5 characters.
Sly Flourish's Adventure Generators. These one-page adventure generators are intended to help you build D&D adventures quickly and easily.
Sly Flourish's Uncovered Secrets. These one-page guides are intended to help you more easily run great D&D games. They're cleaner and clearer versions of concepts I've written about on Sly Flourish, built to sit alongside the Dungeon Master's Guide and the Lazy DM's Workbook. Like the adventure generators, this PDF will grow each month.
Patron-Exlusive Channel on the Sly Flourish Discord server. You can access this channel byconnecting Patreon to Discord and joining the server.
This month I've added Raiders of the Lost Ark to the Adventure Generators and Running One-on-One Games to Uncovered Secrets. If you missed it, I also released another full adventure, Vault of the Dread Siphon, midway through the month.
This month I've dived deep into my Rime of the Frostmaiden campaigns. I have both articles and videos coming out about it. While the adventure itself can use work (really, all of them can), I'm still enjoying running it and my players are enjoying playing it. You can see my Frostmaiden Notion campaign notebook if it interests you.
New weekly articles on Sly Flourish continue as they have for ten years. Thanks to you I've set up a Sly Flourish newsletter so you can get these articles to your email inbox every Tuesday. Sign up if you don't want to miss a single article.
I've also been posting more videos to the Sly Flourish Youtube channel. You can subscribe to my channel on Youtube for the latest videos; usually one to two a week. I've been splitting between D&D Tip videos and Lazy DM Prep videos.
All of these videos are also available in podcast form through the Sly Flourish podcast. About a month ago, after James Introcaso and Rudy Basso shut down the Don't Split the Podcast network, I took the feed back and have been posting new podcasts once or twice a week. So if you don't mind sharing your commute with me, subscribe away. This, again, is due to your support. Lots of things like email lists and podcast stations cost money and your support through Patreon foots that bill. Thank you.
I'm excited for Kobold Press's latest Kickstarter, the Vault of Magic. I'm lucky enough to have submitted a magic item for the vault and look forward to seeing it in play. Kobold Press really is a wonderful third party vendor for great D&D products.
It looks like we have a couple of new D&D books coming out in the next couple of months too with Candlekeep Mysteries and Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft. I'm always excited for new things.
Thank you again for your wonderful support and keep rolling those 20s!
