I've managed to finish three year-long campaigns within three weeks of each other! My two weekly Eberron games ended within a couple of weeks of each other and my Avernus game ended in between. You can read or watch my final thoughts about Avernus. I plan to record my final thoughts on my awesome Eberron campaign this coming weekend. Here are my secret notes for the show! You can also see my full Eberron campaign notebook too.
With those campaigns complete, I plan to move to Rime of the Frostmaiden! As a patron, you get early access to my Frostmaiden campaign notebook and campaign one-pager. If you want to make your own campaign one-pager you can download the template in Word.
One thing I'll definitely say about Frostmaiden, you definitely want to have your safety tools lined up. It's a rough adventure with a lot of potentially problematic content. It's also, so far, an adventure that requires a fair bit of DM work to wrangle into something playable – at least from my experience so far. More on this as I run it.
I pre-ordered my copy of Candlekeep Mysteries. I think WOTC publishing a book of independent adventures from a wide range of authors is a great idea. I'd love to see them focus a smaller number of in-house writers to big published adventures and larger numbers of freelancers on anthologies. I think that's a great mix.
My latest book, Fantastic Lairs, co-authored with James Introcaso and Scott Fitzgerald Gray will soon be for sale! We're just finishing up with the proof copies of the hardcover and softcover versions and then making those available to Kickstarter backers. At that point it will be up for general sale as well. It's a beautiful book and I couldn't be more proud of it.
That's it for this month! Thank you all again for your outstanding support. Now let's go run some awesome D&D games!
