September 2020 Sly Flourish Patreon Newsletter

Greetings patrons of Sly Flourish! Thanks to your patronage I've been able to expand Sly Flourish in numerous ways. Since setting up this Patreon I've expanded significantly with Youtube, posting one to two videos a week including Lazy DM Prep episodes and shorter videos such as the importance of names and running the deadly lich.

Because of your support, Sly Flourish now has a weekly newsletter that sends the latest Sly Flourish article to each subscriber every Monday morning. It's the easiest way to get DMing tips and advice straight to your inbox.

The next big project for Sly Flouirish is setting up the official Sly Flourish podcast. This podcast will re-broadcast my Youtube videos in audio so subscribers can listen to them while on the road, while working out, or any other time they can't sit in front of a screen. I'll be working with James Introcaso and Rudy Basso to merge it with the DM's Deep Dive feed as the Don't Split the Podcast network winds down but, in the mean time, you can subscribe to the feed here. This podcast feed is a work in progress and I may move episode dates around to better support the merging of the feeds so please be patient.

I'm also expanding rewards for the patrons of Sly Flourish! As patrons of Sly Flourish you now have access to a bunch of perks. Here's a list:

They're cleaner and clearer versions of concepts I've written about on Sly Flourish, built to sit alongside the Dungeon Master's Guide and the Lazy DM's Workbook. I'm starting out with Running Hordes and will expand to include Encounter Benchmarks, Zone-based Combat, Instant NPCs, Monster Difficulty Dials, and more. Like the adventure generators, this PDF will grow in the months ahead.
