#dnd is a great way to schedule a fun evening of fantastic storytelling with our friends. I expect this is a big part of D&Ds recent resurgence. 

I think, for many of us, #dnd is a really important part of our lives in that it brings this close social bond regularly into our lives.

Though I’ve focused less on #dnd monster tactics and mechanics these days, I still love to dig into @KeithAmmann’s “The Monsters Know What They’re Doing” now available in print! I picked up my copy on the Kindle.

What's On My Mind?

As you can see I've been spending more time on YouTube. There's a huge D&D audience there I've been neglecting and I hope to make more useful videos to share there. Just earlier today Enrique Bertran and I ran a D&D game online I plan to post to YouTube later tonight (its encoding as I write this). Thanks to you, I can provide all of these videos ad-free.

I picked up the collectors version of Tyranny of Dragons, an adventure upon which I look quite fondly. You can read a series of articles I wrote about this adventure beginning with Greenist in Flames.

I've been thinking a lot about the evidence that being close with friends and family is the biggest variable when it comes to happiness and health. When I think about sitting down and playing D&D with my own family and friends, I certainly know I am at my happiness. May each of you find that same joy enjoying tales of high adventure with your own family and friends.
