well, i've been in the spirit since august, but now everyone else will come to join me too π and the weather is finally cooling down here too! yay!

2023-10-01 00:44:13 +0000 UTCNew patron here! I've been trying to work on sewing as much as I can but I had to abruptly move with less than a months notice. Got mostly out of the house by the 7th but things have been extra hectic. I am extremely excited for the werewolf pattern though, as I will be getting more freetime as things in life (hopefully) slow down. But there is still so much unpacking to do!

As far as me, September was more about prepping for shoulder surgery/having shoulder surgery on 9/15, so not a lot in the creative front save for working on a comic script to work on when I am all healed up. Today actually marks 15 days PostOp, and I'm doing pretty well all things considered (they stole 1cm of bone from my shoulder, so there is now a sizable gap I can feel lol). Hoping that October brings the ability to get back to doing art/sewing since I start PT on Tuesday, looking forward to being able to be creative again with little to no pain <3

I'm gonna get my first fancy goldfish soon! I've gotten back on to working on sample for mini Feathered Dino. I used your double fabric strat for the fluffs for the head for now so I could get past it and actually finish stuff! I've also been working on making a produce bag for fruiiiit and stuff, hubby got a big basket of stuff for a going away present when hubby moved stores! Now I want to try using the ultra bond thing to make multicolored things. Like cutting pieces together and then putting them all on the thing. That makes no sense. But that's fine you know I'll just swamp you with pictures eventually. Ugh I need to get a proper camera to record stuff for youtube. Oh and Deanie is obsessed with pumpkin images so he has a pumpkin shirt and he loves it. Oh and I'm also making a sort of block for the front of his jammies so he can't take them off. I'm using snaps to add a whole patch across the front. It's from another shirt it says 'No One Sleeps Til I Say So'.
