Continuing work on floppy werewolf!
Added 2023-07-19 21:20:56 +0000 UTCI've had so much fun today! I continued work patterning the floppy werewolf for the August pattern reward. I switched to minky to be able to edit and track pattern changes more easily, as its nearly impossible for me to do with luxe cuddle minky since i mark up the fabric! I plan on changing the back legs to be a bit more detailed and making minor edits to the head shape. Once i fix that I'll make a complete prototype out of luxe cuddle minky with additional details like claws and paw pads! Unfortunately it'll have to wait a bit since i need to prep for the ditto drop on saturday again! Maybe I'll have time to sneak it in soon 👀

i always use cuddle 3 minky or mochi minky to plan the embroidery! the only thing is that if you draw it on when the plush is stuffed, the drawn shapes will compress when you unstuff it so you need to compensate for that. i still think its the best method as opposed to using a non-stretch fabric which will make the pattern come out way different. the luxe cuddle minky seems to translate pretty well shape-wise with normal minky, but it will appear fluffier due to the pile.

I've been doing my best drawing on Luxe Cuddle to plan embroidery and cleaning up the marks on photoshop, but I'm always looking for easier methods!
