Backing cards obtained!! Lizard ITH instructions & more~

FINALLY! i got the backing cards for the single sweetdittos!

it's a long story how these ended up being made... these single sweetdittos were meant to be the pink pins in my sweetditto set, but my manu REALLY screwed up the color and they came out purpley-pink... too close to purple for it to look good in the full set. so i had them remade to be true pink for the full set. but that meant i had a bunch of purple-pink pins! it ended up being a happy accident because they are a really pretty color and i figure some people will not want to buy a full set. it's also inspired me to make a new singular sweetditto every year to add to the prior year's set! i think next year i will make an orange one, but which saying? i may put it up for a vote 👀

these singular pins needed their own backing card. i edited the full set backing card to fit into a square and sent it off to get printed...

... and this is what i got. man, i royally messed this one up. i put in the order way too quickly and didnt realize i wasn't reading some of the guidelines right. not only was the placement wrong but it was also completely matte when i wanted a gloss front and matte back. 🤦‍♀️

luckily i have a reliable local place that i've gotten business cards printed at before, so i called them up and they were able to print it for me quickly.. but man what a waste of money!! i will never be making this mistake again, lol.

after picking those up i knocked out the written instructions for the waffleback lizard ITH pattern that will be a reward for $5 tips & tutorial patrons and higher in february. tomorrow i will work on the timelapse video for these!

i've also continued work on the hopen mochi color guide. trucking along! 💪
