i also am finalizing the clodsire pattern instructions & video which release 1 week from today!! 🥳

i also started work on the hopen textiles guide as a reward for hitting the 500 patrons goal!

tomorrow i'll be working on the instructions and video for the waffleback lizard ITH pattern which is a reward for february patrons.

yes, it comes as a pdf with instructions and the template, and the pdf can be printed at home :)

As part of the clodsire pattern: will you have a pdf/downloadable pattern that we can safe and print and trace at home?

Morgan

Knowing the exact temp does help lots, thanks again!

Leon

I'm so hyped!! Can't decide which version I want to go for yet 😆

Yoi

if it makes you feel better when i do sublimation i press minky at 375F for 5 minutes. it can take a lot of heat!

makeshiftwings

Oooh thank you for the clarification and tips! It's a little scary to try it out, but I'll give these a try.

Leon

you can iron minky! it's a myth that you can't. if you apply really high heat for a long time it can begin to melt the fibers but i iron minky all the time. i'd recommend washing the fabric and then drying it in a dryer. you can iron it on a setting for polyester and iron it from the back first. if the folds are still there you can iron on the front of it. you can gradually turn up the heat of the iron too. i iron on the lowest setting that produces steam. you can also try using a steamer!

makeshiftwings

Maybe a silly question, but since minky isn't meant to be ironed, what do you recommend doing for minky that's been folded for a while in storage? ;v; My light brown for the squishy boi has some rather stubborn folds :c

Can't wait to admire the sire!!!

Ausome Pawsome

yep! it'll have early access to previous patron patterns & stickers and first dibs on some premade plush i make!

makeshiftwings

yay! you dont need anything strong, you can use something fragrance free & natural especially if you're going to be selling your items since so many people are sensitive to scents. and i dry my mochi on low with a dryer sheet, it helps preshrink it and keeps it soft :)
