Inventory day 2 & looking back at 2022

today i've been doing inventory again! as i was looking back to double check all the fabrics i used, i decided to make my 2022 summary of art!

i'm so happy i was able to be so productive this year and complete a project every month, not including all the dittos in between everything!

i think it's important to take a moment to look back and see what you've accomplished - or look forward, and see what you want to accomplish next year! (i added the template if you'd like to make your own!)

what did you make this year that you are proud of? what are your plans for 2023? i want to know!

Thank you! :) Everyone did really appreciate their gifts this year. I was really happy to be able to do all homemade. :) I have so many projects planned for 2023 already... lol!! :)

Wow that is amazing!! You accomplished so much and making all your presents handmade is really impressive and i bet everyone loved that personal touch! Sergers are amazing, i hope you continue to like it and I'm excited to see your projects!!

I worked a lot on my sewing skills this year, especially the last couple months leading up to Christmas. All my gifts were hand made this year! I made lots of different style bags (purse, toiletries bags, duffle bags with lots of pockets, simple duffle bags, etc), a couple quilts, hooded blankets, an appliqué farm scene wall hanging, and tried making clothes by making a zipper hoodie for my sister, a cardigan for my mom, and a kigu for my partner of his horse sona. I got a serger for my birthday/Christmas present from my mom, so I've been learning how to use that (I love it). It really helped with the clothes I made. Now that the Christmas chaos is over, I'm getting back into making fursuits and plushies, though I'm going to definitely keep making bags, quilts, and clothes. :)

Ahh that sounds so fun! It's very exciting to work in different mediums and keep things fresh. I can't wait to see what you make!!

In trying to improve my digital art skills, but I also want to generally get better and learn how to make files for 3D printing, the Cricut, and of course my embroidery machine!
