January Rewards & Info!

hey all! here's the master post for all rewards available in january and some info related to them!

please be sure to read, especially if you're an existing patron who plans on upgrading to a physical reward tier!

REWARDS!

On January 1 the rewards for each tier will be listed at the top of the membership description.

8" Clodsire plush pattern (special launch offer!)

• Receive by pledging to either:

- $5 tips & tutorials tier;

- $10 sticker, tips & tutorial tier;

- or $60/$65 ditto plush tier

• Must pledge from Jan 1 - Jan 31 (if you are an existing patron, you must renew in January!)
• Pattern sent out through DM on Jan 31
• Intermediate difficulty
• Embroidery requires 5x7 hoop area
• Must be made from mochi minky with mochi stuffing - check out my website for sources 

usage rules for pattern:

• you can sell plushies you make with the pattern
• there is no limit to how many you can sell but you cannot get these mass produced by a factory
• you cannot claim the pattern is your own & you must credit me in social media posts & sales listings
• you cannot redistribute or resell the pattern

S'mores ditto sticker

• Receive by pledging to either:

- $5 sticker tier;

- $10 sticker, tips & tutorial tier;

- or $60/$65 ditto plush tier

• The sticker tiers will go live early on January 1. The plush tier goes live Jan 1 at 4pm EST!
• Must pledge from Jan 1 - Jan 31 (if you are an existing patron, you must upgrade in January - see important upgrade info "FOR EXISTING PATRONS" below!!)
• Rewards are mailed out weekly
• Unlimited slots - no rush to join!
• 2" size

The stickers are made from water resistant glossy vinyl. While they are water resistant, they should not be submerged in water or placed on cups that will be run through the dishwasher. They are not UV resistant, so please do not place them outside.

Cowboy ditto plush

• Receive by pledging to either:

- $60 ditto plush tier for patrons located in the US (only 20 slots available)

- $65 ditto plush tier for patrons located outside of the US (only 4 slots available)

• This tier will go live Jan 1 at 4pm EST! BE FAST!

• Rewards are mailed out weekly
• 4" large without hat

Cowboy ditto is made from mochi minky with embroidered details. The vest is made from faux leather; the scarf from a knit fabric; and the hat from flocked plastic.

This tier will be HIDDEN once the slots fill up to avoid overselling. If any slots become available they will be released on the 1st of each month (I will announce the time in advance).

If you cancel your membership in this tier, your slot is gone! You will need to try and get back into this tier when it reopens on the 1st of the following month.

Seconds grade plush will be available in my Patreon exclusive shop that is available for $5 and up Patrons in February - this will not be announced in advance and will be totally random!

FOR NEW PATRONS!

I am on subscription billing which means that you will be billed monthly on the same date that you join.

To qualify for the Clodsire pattern you must pledge in JANUARY, not in December!

The WIP tier contains almost daily updates of what I'm working on and early announcements of events like shop updates and commission openings.

The tips & tutorial tiers contain all $1 benefits; access to written plush making tips, tricks, and tutorials on plush making topics; access to Patreon-exclusive plush making video tutorials and vlogs; early access to non-Patreon exclusive videos released on my YouTube; and access to my Patreon exclusive shop that gives early access to stickers, old Patreon patterns, and occasionally plush. I will not be releasing sewing patterns monthly, so please take this into account before you pledge!

I am very active on my Patreon and I hope that you will enjoy my content!

FOR EXISTING PATRONS!

When you upgrade to a physical reward tier you will only be charged the difference between your current tier cost and the new tier cost. For example, if you are in the $5 tier and upgrade to the $60 plush tier, you will only be charged $55. 

HOWEVER, due to Patreon's subscription billing model, if you upgrade to a physical reward tier before your monthly billing date, your monthly billing date does not change. This means that you will get charged twice in January unless you cancel before your billing date. After January you will continue to be billed at the upgraded rate on your normal monthly billing date.

But don't worry! If you let both charges go through, it will not be a double charge for nothing. I will make sure you get a physical reward for both charges - but let's talk options:

Are you upgrading to a sticker tier?

I highly encourage you to upgrade AFTER your monthly billing date. There is no rush to join this tier! Slots are unlimited. This way you will only be charged the difference to upgrade to a sticker tier once in January.

If you do upgrade before your billing date, your upgrade cost on 1/1 will be used for January's reward.. I will use your 2nd monthly billing charge towards February's reward and your February sticker will be mailed on Feb 1. And, unless you cancel, every month's charge will go towards the following month's reward which will be mailed on the 1st of the month. There are some designs that are centered around holidays, so if you choose this option getting them mailed on the 1st is a good idea!

If you are going to be billed in January before the next month's designs are revealed on ~15th of each month, you can DM me for a sneak peek! If you've been billed and don't want that month's reward I can refund you the amount of the physical reward - I can't refund the amount of non-physical rewards since you retain access!

If you don't want to pay in advance for February's design, you can cancel your membership and rejoin in February.

Are you upgrading to a plush tier?

I expect these tiers to go FAST! Therefore, if you can upgrade when they go live, I encourage you to do so. But, you will be charged again in January on your monthly billing date.

Your upgrade cost on 1/1 will be used for January's reward. I will use your 2nd monthly billing charge towards February's reward and your February rewards will be mailed on Feb 1. And, unless you cancel, every month's charge will go towards the following month's reward which will be mailed on the 1st of the following month. I don't want to be charged twice in January!

I understand! I really wish this weren't the case either, but unfortunately I have no control over how Patreon bills members. You have a couple options:

• If you upgrade before your monthly billing date, cancel your membership before you are charged again. You can sign back up on the 1st of the next month - this is a good option for sticker tiers!

You will lose access after your monthly bill date until you sign back up on the 1st, but you will be able to go back and view the old posts when you rejoin!

• I can refund you the physical reward amount when your monthly bill is charged in January - your rewards for February will be billed on your normal monthly billing date and fulfilled at that time, which could be late in the month!

Please DM me if this is what you want to do! If I don't hear from you, I will be using the 2nd January charge towards February's reward.

What about the Clodsire pattern?

You must pledge in January, which means you need to renew your membership in January. If you are in the tips & tutorial tier and have no plans to upgrade, when your membership renews in January you qualify for the pattern! It will be distributed through DM on January 31.
